Why most new insurance agents quit before $5K/month (and the fix)
I've watched dozens of new life insurance agents wash out in their first 6 months. Same pattern every time:
They get licensed, their upline hands them a script, and they start cold calling with zero strategy. No lead system. No follow-up process. No understanding of why people actually buy life insurance.
Here's what actually works:
Stop selling insurance. Start solving a problem. Nobody wakes up wanting a policy. They want to know their family won't lose the house if something happens. Speak to that.
Your lead source matters more than your script. A mediocre closer with warm, intent-based leads will outsell a great closer dialing random numbers every single time. Build a system that brings people to you.
Follow up like your rent depends on it. Because it does. 80% of my closed deals come from the 2nd-5th touchpoint. Most agents give up after one call.
I built Commission Blueprint to give new agents the exact system I used to go from $0 to consistent $5K+ months. No fluff, no theory — just the scripts, the lead gen playbook, and a community of agents who are actually closing.
