I Built a Free Habit Tracker — Looking for Honest Feedback

Hey everyone! 👋

I recently built a free habit tracker called Commit OS to help people stay consistent with their daily habits.

The goal is simple:

  • ✅ Track daily habits

  • 📈 Build consistency over time

  • 🔥 Maintain streaks

  • 🎯 Stay accountable

I'm still improving it, so I'd love honest feedback from this community.

What features do you think every habit tracker should have? What would make you use one every day?

I'd really appreciate your suggestions and constructive criticism. Thanks for taking the time to help! 🙌

The real reason your habit tracker isn't working

Most people quit habit trackers within 2 weeks. Not because they lack discipline — because the tracker measures the wrong thing.

Counting "did I do the habit yes/no" doesn't show you why you're inconsistent. What actually works is tracking your time honestly — including the breaks, the distractions, the half-focused hours. Once you see where your time actually goes, the pattern becomes obvious, and fixing it stops being a mystery.

That's the whole idea behind CommitOS: real-time tracking of your work sessions (and your breaks), visual streaks so momentum is visible, and honest accountability instead of vanity checkmarks.

If you're a remote worker or building something on the side and keep "starting over" on your habits — the fix usually isn't more willpower. It's better visibility into your actual behavior.
