The 3 content mistakes killing your small business reach
I've helped dozens of small business owners fix their social media, and the same 3 mistakes come up every single time.
Mistake #1: Posting without a hook.
The first 1-2 seconds of your video (or first line of your caption) determines whether anyone watches. Most small businesses open with "Hey guys!" or their logo. Nobody cares. Lead with the problem your customer has or a result they want.
Mistake #2: Trying to be on every platform.
Pick ONE platform where your customers spend time. Master it. A business owner posting 5x/week on one platform will outperform someone posting once everywhere.
Mistake #3: Making content for yourself instead of your customer.
Your content shouldn't be "look what we did." It should be "here's what you need to know." Teach something. Solve a problem. Every post should answer: why should my ideal customer care about this?
Fix these three things and watch what happens to your reach in 30 days.
