5 SOPs every solopreneur should have before hitting $10K/mo

Most solopreneurs are winging it. Running on vibes instead of systems. The ones who break past $10K/month aren't necessarily smarter. They just have systems.

Here are 5 SOPs that changed how I run my business:

1. Client Onboarding SOP

Stop improvising every time a new client signs up. Document the exact steps: welcome email, intake form, kickoff call agenda, tool access, first deliverable timeline. Takes 30 minutes to write, saves you hours every month.

2. Content Production SOP

Whether you're posting on X, writing newsletters, or making videos — batch it. Repeatable process: ideation → outline → draft → edit → schedule. One template, every piece of content.

3. Financial Review SOP

Every Friday, 15 minutes: check revenue, expenses, outstanding invoices, and cash flow forecast. If you don't know your numbers, you don't have a business — you have a hobby.

4. Customer Follow-Up SOP

After delivery, after purchase, after a support ticket. Systematize how and when you follow up. This alone can 2x your retention and referral rate.

5. Weekly Planning SOP

Sunday night or Monday morning. Review last week's wins/losses, set 3 priorities for the week, block your calendar. No more reactive chaos.

I've built ready-to-use templates for all 5 of these (and a lot more). They're inside CreatorShelf — grab lifetime access and skip the setup phase entirely.
