Everyone is focused on one question:

When will the CLARITY Act pass?

But the more interesting question might be:

What still has to happen after it does?

Even with a federal framework in place, regulators still need to work through things like:

  • who regulates which parts of the market

  • how tokenised assets are legally owned and transferred

  • how KYC works across different platforms

  • how digital assets can be used as collateral

  • how exchanges, custodians and institutions actually implement the new rules

So this week’s question is:

Do you think the biggest hurdle for crypto is still getting the law passed — or building the infrastructure that comes after it?

One of the most interesting conversations we’ve had on the UK Crypto Podcast so far.

This week, Paula and I sat down with Alex, who spent 15 years at BlackRock, including as a Managing Director, and is now UK Lead and Managing Director at 21Shares.

And I think this is an important conversation for anyone trying to understand where crypto is actually heading.

We hear constantly about “institutional adoption”.

But what do the institutions themselves really think about crypto?

What has changed behind the scenes?

How do companies managing serious amounts of capital view Bitcoin, XRP and the wider digital asset market?

And perhaps most importantly — how different is the institutional view of crypto from the conversation taking place amongst retail investors?

Alex has experienced both worlds first-hand, which gave us the opportunity to go far beyond the usual headlines and talk about how traditional finance is actually approaching this industry.

We discussed institutional adoption, ETFs, regulation, XRP, Bitcoin and what still needs to happen before digital assets become a truly established part of global finance.

If you’re interested in where crypto could be heading over the next few years rather than simply where prices might go next week, I think you’ll get a lot from this conversation.

I’ll tag Alex and 21Shares below.

Would love to hear what everyone thinks after watching it.

🐺 BITCOIN ENTERS THE CAPITULATION ZONE?

One of Bitcoin’s most closely watched metrics is flashing an important signal.

The percentage of BTC supply currently sitting in profit has fallen into a multi-year extreme-low zone. Historically, these levels have appeared around periods of capitulation and major market bottoms.

Does that mean the bottom is definitely in? No.

The Coinbase Premium Index shows that institutional investors on Coinbase have continued selling aggressively for 90 consecutive days. Meanwhile, SOPR suggests we still haven’t seen a true mass capitulation involving both short-term and long-term holders.

In simple terms: Bitcoin has entered a zone where major long-term opportunities have historically started to appear—but there could still be one final flush before the bottom is confirmed.

This is a time for patience, not panic. Watch the data, manage your risk and don’t assume anybody can perfectly call the exact bottom.

What do you think—are we forming the bottom now, or is one more painful move coming first?

If crypto disappeared from your life tomorrow… what would you actually miss?

The charts? The trades? The opportunity?

Or the people you’ve met along the way?

That community side is a huge part of why we built Crypto Wolfpack. 🐺

Research, education, trading, automation — but also having people around you who are on the same journey.

What keeps you in crypto?

Would your crypto results improve if you stopped trying to predict every move?

Better risk management, clearer systems and fewer emotional decisions often matter more than finding the “perfect” entry.

That is what we focus on inside Crypto Wolfpack. 🐺

What do you struggle with most: entries, exits, patience or risk?

Honestly, patience is probably the biggest one. 😅

A lot of traders have a decent strategy but still overtrade because they feel like they need to catch every move

What’s been the biggest changer for you

risk management or patience?

What’s costing you more in crypto right now: bad trades… or bad decisions?

Chasing pumps. Panic-selling dips. Changing strategy every time the timeline gets loud.

Crypto Wolfpack was built to help people trade and invest with more structure, education and support.
