The 3 mistakes that wipe out 90% of new crypto traders (and how to avoid them)
Most beginners don't lose money because the market is "rigged" — they lose it because of three avoidable habits:
1. No position sizing. Going all-in on a single trade because it "feels right." One bad move wipes out weeks of gains. Fix: never risk more than 1-2% of your account on a single trade.
2. Chasing green candles. Buying because a coin already pumped 40% today, driven by FOMO instead of a plan. Fix: have an entry rule before you open the chart, not after you see the move.
3. No exit plan. Buying with a target in mind but no stop-loss, so a small dip turns into a 60% drawdown you "wait out." Fix: decide your exit — both profit target and stop-loss — before you enter, not after.
None of this requires being a genius or having insider info. It requires structure, which is exactly what most beginners are never taught.
That's the gap we built Crypto Edge Academy to close — a straight-through, jargon-free path from "never traded before" to placing your first confident, risk-managed trade.
