If you are applying from India for Greece, Spain, Malta, or Germany, the refusal usually is not “bad luck.” It is the file.

The four that kill tourist files:

1. Travel dates that do not match hotel and flight holds.

2. Bank statements that look topped up the week before.

3. A cover letter that says “tourism” and nothing else.

4. Hiding a prior refusal. They already have it.

Age 18+, ECR and ECNR both work if the rest of the file is honest. A previous refusal is not automatic death — unexplained gaps are.
