Why I stopped drawing for myself and started drawing for strangers
I used to fill sketchbooks that nobody ever saw. Hundreds of portraits sitting in a drawer.
Then someone asked me to draw their dog โ a scruffy terrier named Biscuit. They cried when they saw it. Not because my technique was perfect, but because I captured something a camera couldn't.
That's when it clicked: the best art isn't for galleries. It's the piece hanging in someone's living room that makes them smile every morning.
Now I draw custom portraits and pet sketches for people who want something real โ not a filter, not a print, but a one-of-a-kind piece made by hand.
Every line has intention behind it. Every piece ships to your door.
If you've got a face (human or furry) that deserves to be on paper, I'd love to draw it.
