One stick in the morning is enough
Most people buy incense the wrong way. A giant box, three scents they never finish, then it sits in a drawer until the next festival.
If you pray at home every day, you only need one stick in the morning. Same time. Same corner of the house. That is the whole practice.
Hindu households often light it before puja. Muslim households often use it to settle the room before prayer. The ritual is different. The habit is the same: start the day with smoke, then begin.
Cheap incense is loud — too much perfume, too much smoke, headache by minute five. Good incense is quiet. You should still be able to hear yourself think.
Buy a month at a time. Finish the pack. Order again. That is how incense is supposed to work in a home, not as decoration.
