1. "Labas?" (لاباس؟) — "How are you?" but way more casual. Use it with literally everyone.

2. "Bslama" (بسلامة) — "Goodbye / go in peace." Warmer than any textbook farewell.

3. "Bghit atay" (بغيت أتاي) — "I want tea." You will use this 10x a day. Trust me.

4. "Smeh liya" (سمح ليا) — "Excuse me / I'm sorry." Essential for navigating the medina.

5. "Zwin/Zwina" (زوين/زوينة) — "Beautiful" (masc/fem). Works for food, places, people, everything.
