The real reason you keep quitting (it's not discipline)
Everyone thinks consistency is about willpower. "I just need to try harder." "I need more discipline."
That's a lie.
I watched myself quit the gym 4 times. Quit journaling 3 times. Started and stopped a side hustle twice. Every time I blamed myself — "I'm just not disciplined enough."
Then I realized something: discipline is the result of consistency, not the cause of it.
Here's what actually works:
Make it stupidly small. Don't commit to "go to the gym for an hour." Commit to "put on gym shoes." That's it. The rest follows.
Track the chain, not the result. Forget about losing 10kg or making $1000. Just don't break the streak. Day 1, Day 2, Day 3... the results come on their own.
Remove the restart loop. Every time you "start over on Monday," you're training your brain that quitting is normal. Instead: miss a day? Do it the next day. No reset. No drama.
I put everything I learned into a system — The Consistency Blueprint. It's the guide I wish I had when I was stuck in the start-stop cycle.
