Most creators post a video, get 200 views, and give up. Here's the thing — the algorithm isn't broken. Your distribution is.
TikTok and YouTube push content that already has momentum. If your first 30 minutes get low engagement, you're buried. That's just how it works.
The fix? Paid promotion to seed initial traction. A targeted push in the first hour can be the difference between 200 views and 200K.
I run promotion campaigns for TikTok videos and YouTube AI content. If you've got something worth watching, I'll make sure people actually see it.
DM me or check out Deal Flow if you want to talk numbers.
I've trained dozens of new reps and the same patterns come up every single time. If you're just getting into sales, this will save you months of pain.
Mistake #1: Talking too much.
New reps think selling = pitching. It's not. The best closers talk 30% of the time and listen 70%. Your job is to ask questions that make the prospect sell themselves. Try this: after every statement the prospect makes, ask "tell me more about that" instead of jumping to your pitch.
Mistake #2: Not following up.
80% of deals close between the 5th and 12th touchpoint. Most beginners give up after 1-2 attempts. Set up a follow-up system — even a simple spreadsheet — and commit to 7 touches minimum before you move on.
Mistake #3: Taking rejection personally.
A "no" is just information. It means you haven't found the right angle, the right timing, or the right prospect yet. Track your numbers and focus on the ratios. If you're getting 1 yes for every 20 nos, that's a 5% close rate — and that's actually workable if your volume is high enough.
I built Deal Flow to help beginners avoid these traps and level up faster. We break down real scripts, do live role-plays, and build the habits that separate closers from everyone else.
