Why Most People Fail at Spiritual Practice (And How to Actually Stick With It)

Here's the pattern I see constantly:

Someone has a spiritual awakening. They start meditating, journaling, reading sacred texts. For about 2 weeks, everything clicks. They feel amazing.

Then life happens. They miss a day. Then two. The guilt kicks in, and instead of starting again, they abandon the whole thing. Sound familiar?

The problem isn't willpower. It's isolation. You're trying to build a practice alone in a world designed to distract you.

Three things that actually work:

1. Make it small enough to never skip. 5 minutes of meditation beats 0 minutes of a planned 30-minute session. Lower the bar until you can't say no.

2. Attach it to something you already do. Journal right after your morning coffee. Meditate right after you brush your teeth. Don't rely on motivation, rely on routine.

3. Practice in public. Not on Instagram. In a space with other people doing the same thing. Accountability isn't about punishment, it's about being seen. When someone notices you showed up, it changes everything.

That's what we're building at Devotion Hub, a space for people who are done watching and ready to practice. No dogma, no fluff, just daily structure and a community that holds you to it.

If that sounds like what you need, the door's open.
