A font bought for a logo is very often not licensed for the website that logo sits on. Desktop, web, app embedding and broadcast are separate grants, and web licences are usually metered on monthly pageviews — so a site that takes off can quietly outgrow its licence. This is the single most common licensing mistake we see, and it is nearly always honest rather than deliberate.
