The 4 things buyers check before they trust your offer (and most creators skip)
I've spent a lot of time looking at Whop sales pages that flop despite having a genuinely good product behind them. It's rarely the offer itself — it's almost always one of these four things:
1. The guarantee is vague or missing. "Satisfaction guaranteed" tells a buyer nothing. A specific, bounded guarantee ("7-day refund if you complete the onboarding checklist and don't see X") builds more trust than a bigger discount ever will.
2. Delivery isn't described. Buyers want to know what happens right after they pay — do they get an email, a Discord invite, instant access? If your page doesn't say, they assume the worst.
3. The CTA doesn't match the offer's stage. "Buy Now" on a $500 coaching offer with no prior trust-building reads as aggressive. "Apply Now" or "Book a Call" converts better for high-ticket, low-trust-established offers.
4. Claims outweigh proof. Every unproven claim ("the #1 community for X") is a tax on buyer trust. Cut the claim or back it with something concrete — screenshots, numbers, a specific result.
None of these require rebuilding your offer — they're copy and structure fixes you can make in an afternoon. If you want a fast, structured way to catch these before you launch, that's exactly what I built WhopLaunch Auditor for — feed it your offer or sales copy and it flags exactly which of these categories are weak, in priority order.
