Why most 'digital product bundles' are a waste of money (and how to actually pick one)

Spent the last few months building out a digital products vault (PDFs, templates, ebooks, video courses) and here's the thing nobody tells you before you buy one:

Most bundles are volume, not value. 500 templates sounds impressive until you realize 480 of them are recycled freebies. The ones actually worth paying for have three things:

  • A narrow promise. "Everything you need to start a business" is a red flag. "12 tested landing page templates that convert" is not.

  • Proof of use, not just proof of existence. Screenshots of the file aren't proof it works — screenshots of results are.

  • Update cadence. A static Google Drive folder dies in value the day you buy it. A library that adds new resources monthly compounds.

If you're building one yourself: price for the outcome, not the file count. A single template that saves someone 10 hours is worth more than 200 that save them nothing.

Built mine around that principle — happy to share what's worked if anyone's building something similar.
