My wife and I traveled all over Tokyo searching for authentic Uji matcha from the most popular brands. Everywhere we went, there were long lines, sold-out signs, or missing stock. After many trips, we kept coming back empty-handed. The difficulty of finding these rare matchas inspired me to build a notification system that alerts users the moment their favorite matcha is back in stock.
