by haidenzecchinoOne report read cold, as the buyer and lender read it: every area the scope promised checked for whether it is addressed, every finding checked for a location and a severity, the limitations checked for whether they are stated, and the referenced evidence checked for whether it is there. The report is read, not the property. The report says "roof: in good order." It does not say the inspector never got up to look. Priced per report, one payment, nothing recurring.
