Why office snack budgets always forget the drinks
Ran the numbers on our own office spend before starting this: teams budget for snacks, coffee machines, catering — and then someone's still doing a Costco run for soda and Gatorade every other week because nobody owns it.
Drinks are a weird blind spot. They're cheap per-unit so nobody puts a process around them, but they add up in wasted time (an office manager doing a store run is not a good use of $30+/hr labor) and they run out at the worst moment — right before a client meeting or an all-hands.
We built Drink It to be the boring infrastructure piece: a standing monthly credit, same-day delivery, and priority slots so restocking is a non-event instead of a fire drill. If you manage an office and this sounds familiar, worth automating it rather than adding it to someone's task list.
