Meeting Highlights
Claude/Fable 5 was the biggest topic. It was described as a very powerful new AI model available temporarily, with a stronger enterprise version called Mythos 5.
Fable 5 is extremely strong for complex tasks. The meeting mentioned examples like building games, simulations, websites, spreadsheets, PDFs, and advanced planning.
The downside is cost. AI usage is getting very expensive, and the meeting highlighted that premium AI models may become too costly for everyday tasks like simple content ideas or basic automation.
AI tokens may become a major “currency.” A big prediction was that companies and creators will increasingly think in terms of money + AI tokens, because tokens control how much AI work you can actually do.
Cheaper Chinese AI models are becoming more important. Tools/models like Qwen, Seedance, and GenSpark were discussed as cheaper alternatives that may not look as polished but can still get the job done.
Seedance vs Kling: Seedance was mentioned as strong and cheaper for video generation, while Kling is also good but more expensive.
Best use case for expensive AI: Use powerful models for research, planning, strategy, and complex thinking. Then switch to cheaper models to execute the plan.
Fable 5 did well with TikTok video ideas. It created a stronger, more relatable hook for a magnesium product: calling out people who tried magnesium but bought the wrong type.
For Etsy, POD may be safer than digital products right now. The concern was that AI is making digital products easier for buyers to create themselves, which could hurt digital Etsy sales.
Digital Etsy sales seem to be slowing down. The meeting mentioned that even with more listings, digital sales are dropping, while print-on-demand is doing better.
TikTok Shop AI content is risky for affiliates. TikTok seems stricter with AI videos for affiliates, and may suppress, ban, or limit accounts using too much AI-style content.
TikTok Lives still work, but take too much time. Lives were described as effective, but hard to keep doing consistently because of the time commitment.
AI coding may become the next big direction for the community. There was discussion that more members may start moving into vibe coding, Codex, Claude, and building small tools/apps with AI.
Good prompting is becoming a major skill. People who can communicate clearly, structure thoughts, and explain what they want have an advantage when using AI.
AI overwhelm is real. A major theme was that the pace of new tools is getting exhausting, and it can create paralysis because every week there is something new to learn.
Real content may become more valuable. One prediction was that as AI content floods the internet, people may start craving more real-life, human, authentic content again. https://youtu.be/QUFRJ3226zI
