Quick story, not a pitch.

I spent two years buying "basics" from fast fashion brands, and almost every tee I owned did the same thing after 3 washes: the shoulders stretched out, the fabric went see-through, and the shape was gone. Turns out most mass-market tees are 140-180gsm cotton — thin by design, because thin fabric is cheaper to make and ship.

The heavyweight streetwear brands doing 400-500gsm fabric solved this, but most of them charge $70-90 for a plain tee because they're selling "hype," not the fabric itself.

So I started Ecru Studio around one rule: every piece is heavyweight (400gsm tee, 500gsm hoodie), boxy-fit, in neutral tones that go with literally everything — and priced like basics, not hype drops.
