The one thing most people get wrong about getting into motorsport

Everyone thinks you need a fast car to get into motorsport. You don't.

I've seen people show up to track days in bone-stock Miatas and have more fun than the guy in a modded M3 who's scared to push it. The car doesn't matter. Your willingness to learn does.

Here's the actual progression that works:

  1. Start with karting — Seriously. A few sessions will teach you more about car control than a year of YouTube.

  2. Attend a track day as a spectator — Watch how the fast guys drive. Notice how smooth they are, not how fast.

  3. Join a community — You need people who've been through it. That's what we're building at Elite Motors.

  4. Get a helmet before you get a turbo — Safety gear first, mods second.

The barrier to entry is way lower than people think. The expensive part isn't the car — it's not knowing where to start.

That's what Elite Motors is for. Free to join, no gatekeeping.
