The 3 things that actually matter at $0-$10K/month
Most early-stage founders waste time on things that don't matter yet. Brand identity, perfect websites, complex funnels — all that can wait.
Here's what actually moves the needle when you're pre-$10K/month:
1. One clear offer. Not three products. Not a "suite." One thing that solves one painful problem for one specific person. If you can't explain it in a sentence, it's too complicated.
2. Distribution before product. The founders who win early aren't the ones with the best product — they're the ones who can get it in front of people. Build an audience, borrow someone else's, or just DM 50 people who fit your ICP. Do something every single day that puts your offer in front of a potential buyer.
3. Speed over perfection. Ship ugly. Get feedback. Iterate. The gap between you and the person at $10K/month isn't talent — it's reps. They just did more of the boring stuff faster.
