Why you're hardstuck (and what actually fixes it)
Most players hit a wall around Gold/Plat in any competitive game and think they need to grind more hours. They don't.
The problem is almost never mechanics. It's decision-making.
Here's what separates ranks in every competitive game:
1. You don't have a gameplan going in.
Most people queue up and "just play." High-rank players go in with a specific focus — holding a certain angle, playing around a win condition, tracking cooldowns.
2. You're copying pro strats without understanding why.
That lineup or build order works because of the context around it. Without the "why," you're memorizing a script you can't adapt.
3. You tilt-queue.
Two losses in a row? Take a break. Your decision-making drops hard after consecutive Ls and you don't notice.
The fix: play fewer games, review more. One VOD review is worth 5 ranked games.
