Underrated thing AI does really well:

Reading the boring documents you'd never actually read otherwise.

That long lease contract. The HOA bylaws. The fine print on an insurance renewal. The 12-page email your kid's school sent.

Paste it into ChatGPT and ask:

"Summarize this in 5 bullets and flag anything I should pay attention to."

90 seconds later, you know what matters. Skip the 30 minutes of reading.

This single prompt has probably saved more adults more hours this year than any productivity hack on the internet.

Here's what AI looks like in real life:

A 62-year-old florist with no tech background uses ChatGPT to rewrite her 80 product descriptions. Total time: 4 hours over a weekend.

The prompt she types:

"I sell a dozen red roses for $35. The customers are usually husbands buying for anniversaries. Write 3 different product descriptions — classic, romantic, and modern."

That's the entire technique.

Three months later, her Etsy sales are up 30%.

She didn't take a course on "prompt engineering." She just typed what she wanted, in plain English.

If you're avoiding AI because you think it's "for tech people" — you're missing what it actually is.

Three words fix 90% of bad ChatGPT answers:

"Make it shorter."

"Explain it simpler."

"Try again differently."

That's prompt engineering.

Most people get a mediocre answer and conclude AI is overrated. But AI is rarely right on the first try. It doesn't have to be.

Next time you get a so-so answer, type one of those three follow-ups. Watch what happens.

Welcome to Everyday AI 👋

You're in. Take a breath.

Whatever you do, don't try to read all 42 lessons this weekend. That's the fastest way to burn out and quit.

Here's how this works:

1. Open Phase 1 → Lesson 1.1 — What AI Actually Is. Read it. Five minutes.

2. Do the Quick Win at the bottom. Two minutes. Real action, not theory.

3. Close the tab.

Come back tomorrow. Do Lesson 1.2.

The whole course is built around small, daily wins — not weekend cramming. After 30 days of this, AI is part of your routine. After 90 days, you wonder how you ever worked without it.

If you ever get stuck:

→ Search the Master Prompt Library (Resources folder)

→ Drop a question in this feed and I'll answer

→ Use the "explain it like I'm 8" trick from Lesson 1.4

You're not behind. You're right on time.
