Export Set

A read of one consignment’s document set before anybody downstream reads it. What the set must satisfy read first — the letter of credit word for word, or the purchase order and the delivery term. Every value that appears on more than one document — parties, addresses, quantities, weights, dimensions, marks, descriptions, values, currency, terms, ports, dates, references — laid out document by document and every disagreement stated with both values and both documents, with no view on which is right. Each requirement in the credit or order checked against the document that must meet it, as exactly as the bank will read it. Every document the requirements say must travel checked for presence. Each document read alone for blanks, the wrong currency and the reference that points at another shipment. Returned as findings field by field, ranked by which reader — bank, customs, consignee — hits each first. Three business days from the brief arriving, or by the presentation date named if sooner and the set arrives one business day before it.
