Some Morning Reflections **Scripture** And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV) **Reflection** In today’s busy world, it’s easy to pull away from people. Schedules get full, phones distract us, and sometimes we just feel tired. But the Bible tells us clearly: don’t do that. Stay close to other Christians. The verse says we should think carefully about how to “stir up” each other. That means getting each other excited and motivated to show real love and do good things for others. It’s like lighting a fire under someone to help them keep going in a positive way. This kind of help doesn’t usually happen when we’re alone. It happens best when we meet together regularly. Some people had started skipping church gatherings, but the Bible says not to do that. When we come together, in person, we can talk honestly, pray for each other, share our struggles, and lift one another up. That’s where real encouragement grows. There’s also a big reason to keep doing this: the “Day” is getting closer. That means the day Jesus will return. Every day brings us nearer to that moment. Because of that, we need each other more than ever to stay strong, keep loving others, and keep doing what’s right. **Prayer** Dear God, thank You for giving us other believers to walk with. I’m sorry for the times I’ve stayed away or haven’t encouraged anyone. Please help me notice ways I can cheer on my friends in faith. Give me energy to show up, speak kind and true words, and help build others up, especially as we wait for Jesus to come back. In Jesus’ name, Amen. **Application** This week, do one simple thing: - Text someone a quick encouraging message. - Go to church or a small group and be ready to listen and support. - Pray with a friend or help someone in a small way. Even small steps can make a big difference and keep the fire of faith burning strong in each other. Let’s keep encouraging one another until Jesus returns!
