I've helped a lot of beginners start their fat loss journey, and nearly all of them make the same 3 mistakes at the start:
1. Going too hard, too fast
You don't need to run 5 miles on day one. Start with 3x per week, 30 minutes. Consistency beats intensity every single time.
2. Cutting calories way too low
Your body fights back when you starve it. A moderate deficit (300-500 calories) is way more sustainable than eating 1200 calories and white-knuckling it.
3. Ignoring strength training
Cardio gets all the credit, but lifting weights is what changes your body composition. You don't need a gym — bodyweight exercises work great for the first 3 months.
The fix? A simple plan you can actually stick with. That's exactly what I built inside Fat Loss Blueprint — step-by-step programs for people who are just getting started.
