After thousands of hours at the table and reviewing hundreds of hand histories, these are the three most common leaks I see from players at every level — and they're all fixable.

1. Playing too many hands from early position.

It feels tight to fold A-10 offsuit UTG, but against competent players, you're lighting money on fire. Tighten your early position range by 30% and watch your win rate climb.

2. Not sizing bets based on board texture.

A half-pot bet on a wet flop gives your opponent too good a price to draw. On connected, suited boards, go 66-75% pot minimum. On dry boards, you can get away with smaller sizing.

3. Ignoring pot odds when calling river bets.

Most players make river calls based on gut feel instead of math. If your opponent bets pot on the river, you need to be good 33% of the time. Count combos, not feelings.
