The one thing I wish someone told me about tracking my period
Most period trackers are built by people who've never had a period. They're either overly clinical or weirdly gamified.
I built Flow because I wanted something different — something that actually helps you understand what's happening in your body without feeling like you're filling out a medical form.
Here's what I've learned building this:
Your cycle isn't just your period. It's a 4-phase system that affects your energy, mood, sleep, skin, and even how you process information. Most apps only track one phase. That's like reading the last chapter of a book and calling it done.
Irregular doesn't mean broken. Stress, sleep, diet, exercise — they all shift your cycle. The goal isn't a "perfect" 28-day cycle. It's understanding YOUR pattern.
Teens deserve better education. Half the people I've talked to didn't understand their cycle until their 20s. That's not their fault — it's a gap in how we teach this stuff.
Flow is my attempt to close that gap. Simple tracking. Clear insights. A community of women figuring it out together.
If that resonates, come check it out.
