Solo founders don't have an ops problem. They have a loop problem.
Most solo founders I talk to think they need a VA.
They don't. They need to stop reopening the same four loops every day: follow-up, support, invoicing, admin.
Here's the test. Open your last 7 days of work. Count how many times you:
Chased a lead who already said yes
Answered the same customer question twice
Manually sent an invoice or reminder
Copied data from one tool into another
If any of those hit 3+, you don't have a time problem. You have a system that never closes.
The fix is not "use AI more." It's pick ONE loop, write the trigger (when X happens), the action (do Y without you), and the stop condition (when it's done). Then run it for 14 days before you touch anything else.
Most people automate the wrong thing first — they build a fancy content machine while unpaid invoices sit in a spreadsheet. Automate the thing that already costs you money or sleep.
That's the whole game. One closed loop. Then the next.
