Why 128-tick matters more than your aim

Hot take: most FPS players obsess over crosshair placement and aim trainers, but the single biggest factor in whether you hit your shots is the server you're playing on.

Here's the thing — on a standard 64-tick server, you're getting position updates every 15.6ms. On 128-tick, that drops to 7.8ms. That's the difference between your headshot registering and getting traded because the server hadn't caught up yet.

I've been running premium FPS servers for a while now, and the feedback is always the same: "I didn't realize how much the server was holding me back."

If you're grinding ranked in CS2 or Valorant and still on default matchmaking servers, you're leaving performance on the table.

Game Zone runs 128-tick servers with optimized routing. If you want to actually feel the difference, come check it out.
