3 settings most CS2 players get wrong (and how to fix them)
Most people spend hundreds of hours grinding CS2 and never touch their settings. Then they wonder why they're stuck in Gold Nova.
Here are 3 things you can fix in 5 minutes that will genuinely improve your gameplay:
1. Your crosshair is probably too thick
If you can't see heads at long range, your crosshair is the problem. Try: clcrosshairsize 2, clcrosshairgap -2, cl_crosshairthickness 0.5. Small and clean beats flashy every time.
2. You're playing on the wrong sensitivity
Here's the test: can you do a clean 180 with one full swipe of your mousepad? If not, your sens is too high. Most pros play between 800-1200 eDPI. Start there and adjust.
3. Your audio settings are hiding footsteps
Switch to HRTF if you haven't already. And turn music volume to 0. You'd be surprised how many clutch situations you lose because you literally can't hear the enemy.
These are the basics. Inside Frag Hub, I break down advanced strats, post weekly config updates, and share what's actually working in the current meta across CS2, Fortnite, and Roblox.
Stop guessing. Start grinding smart.
