The 3 things that actually changed my trading
Most traders blow up because they skip the boring stuff. Here's what actually moved the needle for me:
1. Stop trading every setup you see.
If you're taking 5+ trades a day, you're gambling. The best traders I know take 1-2 high-conviction plays and sit on their hands the rest of the day. Patience isn't passive โ it's a weapon.
2. Risk management isn't optional, it's the whole game.
I don't care how good your entries are. If you're risking 5-10% per trade, you're one bad week from blowing your account. 1-2% max. Always. No exceptions.
3. Study structure, not indicators.
Indicators lag. Liquidity, orderflow, and market structure tell you what's happening now. Once I stopped relying on RSI and MACD and started reading the actual market, everything clicked.
