Welcome to Beginner Trading Mastery! 🎉

You just took the first real step toward learning to trade with confidence instead of guessing.

Here's your game plan for the next 24 hours:

  1. Head to the Course tab and start Chapter 1: Trading Fundamentals. It's built to take you from zero to your first confident trade, lesson by lesson.

  2. Introduce yourself right here — tell us where you're starting from. Total beginner is exactly who this is built for.

  3. Set aside 20-30 min/day. 4 chapters, 15 lessons: Fundamentals → Reading Charts → Risk Management & Psychology → Your First Trades.

Ground rules that will actually save your account:

  • Risk management before strategy — Chapter 3 is not optional.

  • Paper trade before real money — Chapter 4 walks you through it.

  • No question is too basic. Ask away.

Glad to have you here. Let's get you trading like it's a skill, not a gamble.

The #1 reason beginner traders lose money (it's not their strategy)

I see this constantly: someone finds a "90% win rate" indicator, risks 20-50% of their account on one trade, and blows up within a month. Then they blame the strategy.

Here's the uncomfortable truth: your strategy doesn't matter if your position sizing is broken.

A trader who wins 40% of the time but risks 1% per trade will outlast a trader who wins 70% of the time but risks 20% per trade. Math, not opinion:

  • Risk 1-2% per trade → you can be wrong 20+ times in a row and still be trading.

  • Risk 20% per trade → 4-5 losses in a row (completely normal, even for pros) and you're done.

Before you ask "what indicator should I use" or "what's the best entry signal," ask yourself: do I know exactly how much I'm risking on my next trade, in dollars, before I click buy?

If the answer is no, that's the actual gap — not your chart reading.

Built a full breakdown of this (position sizing, stop-losses, the psychology of why we oversize) inside Beginner Trading Mastery if anyone wants to go deeper. Otherwise, happy to answer questions on risk management right here.
