3 Things I Wish I Knew Before Trading Forex
Been trading FX for years now. Here's what would've saved me months of pain:
1. Risk management > strategy. You can have a 90% win rate and still blow your account if your losers are 10x your winners. Risk 1-2% per trade, max. Non-negotiable.
2. Less is more. I used to watch 28 pairs. Now I trade 3-4. Deep knowledge of GBP/USD beats surface-level knowledge of every pair.
3. Sessions matter. London open and NY overlap are where the real moves happen. If you're trading AUD/USD during London close, you're fighting the spread for no reason.
