Gym beginners don't have a supplement problem. They have a too-many-options problem.
Walk into any supplement store and you'll walk out $200 lighter with a story. Here's the boring version.
If you just started lifting, most of what you need is not on that wall:
Protein — only if your food is actually short. Food first.
Creatine monohydrate — 5g a day, any time. Cheap. Most studied thing in the aisle.
Sleep. Not a powder. Still beats most of the shelf.
Everything else is optional until those three are consistent for a month. Pre-workout is caffeine with a marketing budget. Fat burners are not a training plan.
I'm a Pharm D student. I built Starter Stack because I kept watching people spend rent money on bottles before they could squat to parallel.
If you're already lost in the aisle, that's the buyer. Not the person who already has a spreadsheet.
