The 3 marketing channels that actually work for small businesses in 2026
Most small business owners spread themselves too thin across 10+ marketing channels and get zero traction on any of them.
After working with dozens of businesses, here's what I've seen actually move revenue:
1. Short-form content → DMs
Post 3-5x per week on one platform. Not polished, just valuable. When people engage, reply. When they DM, have a clear next step ready. This alone can 2-3x a small business's pipeline.
2. Email sequences (not blasts)
Most businesses send newsletters nobody reads. Instead: build a 5-email welcome sequence that nurtures cold leads into buyers. One good sequence outperforms months of random broadcasts.
3. Strategic partnerships
Find 3-5 businesses serving the same audience but not competing with you. Cross-promote. Guest post. Bundle. This is the most underrated growth lever and it costs nothing.
The playbook isn't complicated. Pick ONE of these, go deep for 90 days, measure what happens. Then stack the next one.
