The 3 places most service businesses leak revenue before they even notice

After looking at how leads, sales, and delivery actually flow inside B2B service and agency businesses, the same three leaks show up again and again — regardless of industry:

1. The lead goes cold between "interested" and "booked."

A lead fills out a form or DMs you, and then sits for 6-48 hours before anyone follows up. Response speed is one of the highest-leverage, lowest-effort fixes available — leads contacted within minutes convert dramatically better than leads contacted the next day. If your outreach or intake isn't automated, this is usually leak #1.

2. Sales and delivery don't talk to each other.

A deal closes in one tool (DMs, a call, an invoice) and the actual work starts in a completely different place (a spreadsheet, a Slack message, someone's memory). Every handoff without a system is a chance for something to get dropped — a kickoff that never happens, a scope detail that gets lost, a client who has to repeat themselves.

3. Nobody owns "what happens after the sale."

Onboarding, status updates, renewals, and support requests often run on manual effort and good intentions. This is invisible until a client churns and you realize no one followed up, or a renewal was missed because it wasn't on anyone's calendar.

None of these require more headcount to fix — they require the process being written down once and then running on autopilot. That's the core of what we're building at AHMV: systems that close these three leaks so growth doesn't depend on someone remembering to do the manual step.

Curious what's leaking in your own operation — happy to talk through it here.
