Most people lose money when they start trading. Not because the market is rigged — because they skip the fundamentals.

1. Trading without a plan

You wouldn't drive cross-country without GPS. Stop entering trades without knowing your entry, exit, and stop loss before you click buy.

Fix: Write down your thesis for every trade. If you can't explain why you're entering in one sentence, don't enter.

2. Risking too much per trade

New traders throw 20-50% of their account on a single play and wonder why one bad day wipes them out.

Fix: Never risk more than 1-2% of your total account on a single trade. This keeps you in the game long enough to actually learn.

3. Chasing green candles

By the time you see something pumping on social media, the move is already made. Buying the top is the fastest way to blow your account.

Fix: Let the chart come to you. Set alerts at key levels and wait for confirmation before entering.
