They look incredible on backtests. Then reality hits.

Here's what I've learned building the Gold Scalper EA:
Simple > Complex. The best edge in XAUUSD isn't some 15-indicator cocktail. It's clean support and resistance identification with confirmed breakouts. Price has respected these levels for decades. It still does.

Most gold EAs blow accounts because they try to do too much — grid systems, martingale recovery, holding trades through news events. They look great in backtests and implode on live accounts.
Gold Scalper EA takes the opposite approach. One trade at a time. Real stop losses on every position. No averaging down, no "recovery mode" that quietly 10x's your lot size.
Here's what actually matters for XAUUSD scalping:
Execution speed. Gold moves fast — $5-10 in seconds during London/NY sessions. The EA uses pending orders at calculated breakout levels so it's already in the queue when price arrives, not chasing after the fact.
Session awareness. Not all hours are equal. The EA filters by session (Asia, London, NY) because gold's volatility profile changes dramatically. The best setups happen at session overlaps — the EA knows this.
Tight risk per trade. Every position has a fixed stop loss. No exceptions. If the setup is wrong, it takes the small loss and moves on. This is how you survive 1,000+ trades and come out ahead.
