A reminder for anyone who needs it today: showing up is the work. 🌿

You don’t have to earn the right to say you tried.

Stretch. Walk. Do one exercise. Sit for five minutes. Turn around and go home.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s learning to listen to yourself and recognising that your capacity may look different each day.

What does “showing up” look like for you today? 🤍

Weekly Call #2 Recap- Why We Should Move Our Body When Carrying Grief

Profile picture
KezProfile picture@itskezalright·Oct 4

You do not have to leave grief behind.

You can take it by the hand and keep moving with it.

One breath. One stretch. One step.

Small movement is still movement forward. 🤎

What I covered

  • The "heavy blanket" of grief and trauma

  • Why pain can feel physical, not just emotional

  • Why words weren't enough for me initially

  • How strength training became a pattern interrupt

  • Building a foundation rather than seeking perfection

This week's action

  • Complete Week 1 of Begin the Shift

  • If motivation is low, commit to just 15 minutes of movement

  • Share one win in Community Wins

💬I'd love to hear from you in the comments:

Right now, do you use the gym more for your physical health, or is it primarily your mental escape?

Or maybe it's become a bit of both.

If you're reading this, thank you for being here.

Launching something new can feel vulnerable, and recording a live call to an empty room definitely wasn't how I imagined our first session going.

But communities aren't built in a day.

They're built one conversation, one connection and one person at a time.

So whether you're member number 3 or member number 300, I'm glad you're here.

Let's keep lifting through it together.

Kez 💜 💪🏻

Welcome to the LIFT Through It Community

Welcome to the Room🤍

I'm so glad you're here.

If you're reading this, you're here for a reason.

This isn't a standard fitness group, and it isn't a space built around vanity, perfection, or ego lifts. Lift Through It was created for people navigating real life: grief, trauma, emotional exhaustion, loss, and the ongoing journey of rebuilding themselves from the inside out.

I didn't create this platform as a guru, coach, or influencer. I built it because, when my own life fell apart, I desperately needed a room like this and couldn't find one.

Before you get started, I'd love to share a little of my story and how Lift Through It came to be. Please take a couple minutes to watch the video below 👇

Then, when you're ready, head over to the START HERE section and begin your journey.

You're not alone here. 💙
