Why most coaches are leaving money on the table with their social media
I've managed social media for 20+ coaches and personal brands. The #1 mistake I see?
They treat social media like a megaphone instead of a magnet.
Here's the framework that actually works:
1. Lead with transformation, not credentials
Nobody cares about your certification. They care about the result. Every post should answer: "What does my audience GET from reading this?"
2. The 3-1 rule
For every 3 value posts, make 1 conversion post. Most coaches flip this ratio and wonder why engagement is dead.
3. Paid ads aren't optional anymore
Organic reach is dying. Even $20/day on a well-targeted campaign will outperform months of random posting. But only if your offer and funnel are dialed in first.
4. Repurpose everything
One 60-second video becomes: a reel, a carousel, 3 tweets, a newsletter snippet, and a story series. Stop creating from scratch every day.
If you're a coach doing $5K-$50K/mo and want someone to handle all of this for you — that's what we do at Scaling Purple.
