The thing nobody tells you when you start going holistic
Most people who try to switch to a natural lifestyle quit within 3 months.
Not because it's hard. Because they go too fast.
They overhaul everything at once — diet, skincare, cleaning products, supplements — and burn out when it doesn't feel sustainable. The shift to holistic living isn't a weekend project. It's a practice.
Here's what actually works:
Start with one category. Pick the thing that bothers you most — maybe what you're putting on your skin, or your cleaning products. Get that dialed in before moving to the next.
Stop chasing perfection. "Holistic" doesn't mean certified organic everything. It means more intentional choices over time. 80% cleaner is still a massive win.
Build a reference system. Know which ingredients to avoid, which certifications actually matter (most don't), and what your body responds to. Takes time, but it compounds.
Find your people. The biggest factor in staying consistent is community. People actually doing what you want to do — not influencers, real people in progress.
That last one is why I built GUD ESSENCE.
