The 30-Day Method That Actually Gets Beginners Speaking

Most people "study" a language for months and still can't order coffee.

Here's the problem: you're memorizing, not practicing. Flashcards don't build fluency — reps do.

The 30-Day Speaking Protocol:

Days 1-7: Sound first. Listen to 30 minutes of native content daily. Don't translate. Just absorb the rhythm, stress patterns, and sounds. Your brain needs to hear the language before it can produce it.

Days 8-14: Steal phrases. Pick 5 phrases you hear constantly and start using them. "How much?", "I'd like...", "Where is...?" — these aren't vocabulary words, they're survival tools.

Days 15-21: Talk to yourself. Narrate your day in your target language. Making breakfast? Describe it. Walking to work? Describe what you see. You'll sound insane. You'll also improve faster than anyone in your class.

Days 22-30: Talk to humans. Find a language partner (apps make this easy) and have 15-minute conversations. You'll stumble. That's the point. Every mistake is a rep.

By day 30, you won't be fluent — but you'll be speaking. And that's the difference between someone who "knows some Spanish" and someone who's actually learning.

We run this exact protocol inside Lingua Guild, with daily accountability and a community pushing each other forward. If you're tired of studying without results, come join us.
