1. "¿Me recomiendas algo?" — "Can you recommend something?" Works at every restaurant. Locals love it.

2. "¿Cuánto cuesta?" — "How much does it cost?" Essential for markets and street vendors.

3. "No entiendo, ¿puedes hablar más despacio?" — "I don't understand, can you speak slower?" Zero shame in this. People appreciate the effort.

4. "¿Dónde queda...?" — "Where is...?" Way more natural than "¿Dónde está?" for asking directions.

5. "La cuenta, por favor" — "The check, please." You'll use this 3x a day minimum.

6. "¿Tienen wifi?" — Self-explanatory. Survival.

7. "Me llamo [name], mucho gusto" — "My name is [name], nice to meet you." Opens every conversation.

8. "¿Qué me recomiendas para hacer aquí?" — "What do you recommend doing here?" This is how you find the spots tourists miss.

9. "Un poquito" — "A little bit." When someone asks if you speak Spanish, this + a smile goes a long way.

10. "Gracias, eres muy amable" — "Thank you, you're very kind." Close every interaction like this.
