Don't hire a writer before you have ten buyers
Most founders hire a copywriter too early.
You don't have a copy problem. You have an offer problem. A writer can't fix an offer you haven't tested.
Write the first version yourself. Three lines:
Who it's for (one person, not a market)
What they get (the outcome, not the feature)
What stays broken if they don't buy
That's a homepage. That's an email. That's a tweet.
Ship it. Get ten people to pay. Then hire someone to make it prettier.
Until then, the blank page is the product.
