Why your Free Fire sensitivity settings are killing your headshot rate
I've reviewed over 200 Free Fire players' settings in the last 3 months. The same mistake shows up in almost every single one.
They set sensitivity way too high.
Here's what happens: you crank your General to 100, Red Dot to 95+, and wonder why you can't hit anything past 30 meters. Your crosshair flies past the enemy's head before your brain can react.
The fix is counterintuitive — lower your sensitivity by 10-20% and you'll actually hit MORE headshots.
Why? Because Free Fire's TTK (time to kill) rewards the player who lands the FIRST clean shot, not the one who sprays the most bullets. Lower sensitivity = more precise first shot = more headshots = faster kills.
I tested this with dozens of players who were stuck in Gold and Platinum. After switching to optimized presets and following a simple daily routine, most of them hit Diamond within 2 weeks.
The three biggest changes that made the difference:
Dropping General sensitivity by 10-15 points — sounds scary, feels weird for 2 games, then your aim locks in
Training aim for 10 minutes before ranked — just snapping to heads in Training Island
Using the 3-Second Rule in 1v1s — crouch, pre-aim, burst fire instead of panic spraying
If you're tired of being stuck and losing fights you know you should win, I built something for that.
