Your Meralco bill is high because the system is built that way — not because your house is 'not ready' for solar

Most homeowners in the Philippines get the same two lines from installers:

"Your roof isn't ideal."

"You need a bigger system than you think."

Both can be true. Both are also how quotes get padded.

A 5–8 kW rooftop system is enough for a lot of households paying ₱6,000–₱12,000 a month. You don't find that out from a brochure. You find it out by sizing against your bill and your roof.

What actually matters before you talk to an installer:

  • Monthly kWh, not just the peso amount

  • Roof type (metal, tile, concrete) and how much unshaded area you really have

  • Whether you want to offset the bill or go oversized "just in case"

Oversizing is how people spend ₱100,000 extra for panels that sit idle at noon.

We do the design first — layout, system size, savings estimate — so the installer conversation is you checking their number, not them educating you into a bigger invoice.

If you're a homeowner staring at a bill that keeps climbing, start with the design. Install later, on your terms.
