The 5 docs a new business actually needs (and the ones you can skip)
Most people trying to start a business drown in documents they will never open again.
You do not need a 40-page business plan. You do not need a brand book. You do not need an LLC on day one if you have not made a sale.
Here is the short list that actually moves money:
Offer one-pager — who it is for, what they get, price. If you cannot write this in one page, you do not have an offer yet.
Simple pricing sheet — costs, price, margin. If you cannot see the margin, you will undercharge and burn out.
Customer follow-up script — what you send when someone inquires and does not buy. Most missed revenue is here, not in ads.
Delivery checklist — what happens after they pay, in order. This is how you stop scrambling.
Weekly review — 20 minutes: what sold, what broke, what you post next week.
Skip: fancy pitch decks, 12-month forecasts, logo contests, and any template that takes longer to fill out than the work itself.
I built Venture Vault because I kept watching people stall on blank docs. The Founder's Starter Kit is those five pieces, already structured, so you can start this week instead of redesigning a Notion page.
